Sent by telepathic super powers -Stogie Boy I've gotten both Siglo V's and CE's in cardboard. If I could offer some advice it would be to take them out and put them in an empty SLB if you have one. (nice to see you frequently posting, btw! Hope the hols are treating you well) I hear this recommended quite often. Have left all my Esplendidos (some 04s, some 06s, some 08s, and some '13s) in cardboards and have tasted quite fine compared to the standards. Still moderately strong (for Cohiba) and amazing flavours. Never have much changes with these. The only cigar that has had issues with cardboard storage have been my OR Trinidad Reyes which tasted flat. Perhaps that's not due to cardboard storage. I basically won't touch Montecristo's from anywhere aside from my own hand-picks in Cuba (if the stars line up and I'm lucky enough when down there), or PSP selections from Rob.
