I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

I think I may have struck gold here. Bought these from a local source here in the UK. Their last box. Was expecting something with a few years age, owing to discontinued status.

Sancho Panza Sanchos NNSO-TTH-02, which I think decodes as Nov 90 Holguin Province Factory 02? Can anyone confirm that, please?

Lovely box of cigars. Astonishing aromas.

Yes, I can only imagine what you felt when you saw these in the shop, what a great find! NNSO = November 1990, TTH-02 refers to a factory in Holguin Province, that is correct. yes.gif2thumbs.gifclap.gif

When did they start using the Habanos inserts and EMS insert? When was the conversion from Cubatobaco to Habanos?

Going back a couple weeks, I took delivery of 2 boxes of MUO (El Laguito) Partagas D4, from our host.

One was marked HQ, and one was PSP, so a brief photo comparison might be interesting, to showcase the difference:

Subjectively, in person, the PSP are wrappers just a bit fuller in color. Oil and sheen on both is very good, with an edge to the PSP. The aroma of the PSP box might be a bit more intense, but it's hard to verify that it's not placebo. Both are in the ballpark.

Thanks for the confirmation, mate! Can't quite believe my luck! Was expecting a few years of age, but not that.

You sure read SO, not SU?

Just asking, bec there were quite some '98s on the market until not too long back, two or three years ago (got some of them myself).

Lucky you if it's a '90s box, congrats!
