Did they nail that box together with the little dress box nails?  I love it!

Yes, the older cabs were built a bit differently (and more solidly, IMO). Never had a pre-2008 cab that had broken rails where the lid slides in.

I use nails from dress boxes to fortify my cabs that I am ageing. Also I put one in the lid to keep me out of them. Leave just enough of the nail exposed so I can pull it out when it's time.
