PLPC LRG FEB 18. Anyone know if sticks with some green filler will smoke the same? If not, will age help? I plan on smoking one ROTT then aging the cab.

If memory serves, green leaves are a sign of incomplete fermentation. Those leaves tend to taste grassy and harsh (to me at least). And unfortunately, aging won't finish the fermentation process and isn't likely to help that.

I was given one for my bday this past March, and it was one of the best smokes of that night. I immediately picked up a box for myself. I plan on smoking one of them this weekend. 

That's good to hear. Not that I would doubt HU's quality but it's always nice to hear it first hand.

This is an exciting day. Apparently I have now reached a threshold of purchases that @El Presidente has deemed me worthy receiving the premium stock that has plume! ? Over three years of age is nice too. It’s going to be torture waiting 30 days to rest these babies before I break into them.

Not really a purchase but received today my winnings from the monthly contest. I received a stunning example of a Cohiba Genios and a JL #2. A el prez favourite that I have been wanting to try and the genios is my go to celebratory cigar. Whoever chose the cigars did a spectacular job. Thank you @El Presidente @First Lady Perfect timing as well I got news after months of positioning myself I was chosen to work on an important and challenging new project at work. The mrs. was asking my who Ashley why was she sending me a package hahaha. After seeing the cigars I told her she needs to start giving my cigars as well if she wants to keep me around.

I had family come out to visit me this week, so I called a box of TOS NOV 16 Punch 48s out of the locker. It was also perfect timing for the Montecristo 1935 sampler from 24:24 a few weeks ago to be delivered! The wrappers on the Montecristo are silky smooth to the touch. It will be interesting to see if there is much discernible difference in flavour between the wrappers.

I have had “clearance” that are more impressive than PSP. Clearance definitely doesn’t infer low or sub-par quality on 24:24.
