I've got a box of these coming my way, but never had one before. Usually not a huge fan of that large a RG, but I've heard such good things about them, I couldn't pass up a deal.

Some RGP's to share with @Devo when he visits - it's one of his favorite "Cheap & Cheerful".  They had them cheap so I decided to go for two boxes.  Maybe I'll like them as well?  A 15 tubo box of HuP Mag 50's for me !  Have some age on them and all of them have a beautiful medium brown Colorado wrapper.  Smell great too!  I plan on skipping the freezing of these and keeping the caps on since they're singles in tube's but, would appreciate hearing about it if anyone thinks that's a mistake from their experience.  Otherwise I freeze everything before it goes into the "collection".

This is a good question...I’m sure it has been discussed .....I’ve always left them intact and have never had an issue, but I’d be curious to hear what others think ....I usuallly drag the process out quite a bit ....2 days ambient, 2 day fridge, 2 day freeze, back to 2 day fridge, then finish with 2 day ambient before humi ....I always isolate new additions in a zip lock with a Boveda for about a month and double check all the tubos for moisture after this process ....excessive? Probably, but gives me piece of mind when investing thousands

The RG is awkward for sure, definitely not my favorite.  But they are just too good to get nitpicky about.

This is my first box of the La Trova so really looking forward to a test run after a bit of rest.  Firing up my first Esmerelda tonight as well so hoping to keep the good Trini mojo rollin!
