Upside to Pub Closures?

Time was when fathers came home from work and sent Junior out with a big jug to the nearest pub to bring home the daily ration of draft beer.  Then came laws restricting minors from buying alcohol, carrying open obtainers in public and the like, and this tradition sadly died out.  Barring a few folk with their own kegs, most of us had to make do with bottles and cans.

But now ....

Come Coronavirus lockdowns, and pubs and bars had to shut.  But in order to throw them a lifeline, regulations were eased and now, we can get takeaway draft beer again!  In big jugs!  No more bottled stuff, no more faked "draft" beer thanks to gadgets inside cans (looking at you, Guinness) ... just good beer straight from the tap, enjoyed at home.  Maybe I am an incurable optimist, but for me, that's a definite upside.
