No question, but I am talking about generic, cheap, boneless coffee (not necessarily a totally spoiled one). And in my experience, even an excellent cigar can take away from a good (single origin) coffee, in particular lighter roast with its personality and expressiveness. You just don't get the full character and its nuances anymore, as the palate is easily overpowered by even the lightest-body cigar. While on the reverse, with a subpar coffee, just take two or three puffs and a good smoke will be right back on track in no time. But sure, ymmv.

But, yep, in full agreement Ray, life is too short to drink bad coffee anyway!
