There is a fish that is used to make canned "Steers in tomato sauce". In Russian, the name of the fish is written the same way as the colloquial name of a cigarette butt. Hence the tradition: use an e

I absolutely remember these!!
And Dan, I NEVER saw your prompt!!   I put up a couple of recent ones.  One I made for Pete Johnson and another for a local fellow.   Pete also commissioned this one for Pepin Garcia, exclusively from 1957 Chevrolet parts.
I understand he uses it daily.

I couldn’t be happier...

I found this pic yesterday on Reddit. This 'ashtray' is at a strip mall. Although leaving these cigars with bands on to decompose is gross, I love this person's commitment to the hobby. I don't know anyone irl that enjoys cigars as much as this fella.

Hey they love two things. Littering, and their daily 1/4 of a cigar. It just makes sense to combine them.

That is actually a Power Glide flex plate. It connects the engine crankshaft to the torque converter which is the fluid coupling between an engine and an automatic transmission.  And yes, it functions as the ring gear for the electric starter.   The Power Glide was used from 1950 into the early 70s.  About the only info I had on that was that I purchased it from a fellow that specifically sells Tri 5 Chevy parts and it most likely came off of something from the mid to late 50s.   They are unique among flex plates. That one turned out nice....

There is a grotesque beauty in that.  It like a forensic cadaver plot.  Find a cigar at a crime seen and the data from this plot can tell you exactly when it happened.  ?
