El Presidente
Your best cigar of the past month? The one that you can still taste when you close your eyes...the one that brings a smile to your face when recollecting
mprach024
Strangely, a Jun18 Cazadores. It wasn’t the best smoke I had all month, that’s probably a May18 CoRo that was brilliant, but there was something so satisfying about that Cazadores, it was everything I wanted it to be that evening while sitting on my deck watching golfers. I started with Premise Rum, and as I started to get a little drunk I moved on to Old Fashioneds with Michters Rye. A great, solo, drunken evening.
Popular Post Bri Fi
Ramon Allones Superiores MSU ABR 18. Found the time to sneak this one in poolside while my in laws took my daughter out of the house. These are a constant solid smoke. I wouldn’t say they are under rated because they usually get good marks but they don’t get the attention they deserve.
Meklown
Coro takes it for me. Had a PCC RA last night but a bit young and the flavours need a few years to express themselves

dshot
This Cohiba Corona Especiales that I picked up in Cuba last year. Just amazing with two years of age. I think it was more my mood and thinking about my time there more so. But the burn and smoke was spot on. Just curious what one was for you last month @El Presidente?

I am sure it was partly setting but Sunday's flat's fishing drift with a JLS2 from 19. choc/citrus throughout. Medium full. I can still taste it. It has almost single handedly removed from my memory bank all other cigars from the month. Just a brilliant cigar experience.

Islandboy
Without a doubt, a 2019 Siglo VI tubo from 24:24. Abundant richness of classic Cohiba flavors, without 5 years of waiting.

La_Tigre
Either an Esplendido with a light wrapper from our hosts or a Hoyo Epi 1 Tubo from the island. Such an incredible surprise. The Hoyo wins on minute for minute enjoyment. Unfortunately they were a three pack...we will be hoarding the last two for special days. Worst was a dark Siglo II from our hosts. Just terrible burning tent peg after being dry boxed for a month. The second one on deck was punted back to its sisters to go hide for many years. ?

RDB
A brilliant, exotic, light bodied Punch Punch from 2016, over dinner with a dear friend. One of those magic boxes - and from @Elpresidente.
joeypots
2012 H Unman Royal Robusto, UPE NOV 12. I smoked more cigars than usual last month. Quite a few 4 star beauties. The HURR was obtained from a private sale and the cigars are beautiful. A little fat for me but that aside this a a good cigar and a regional release that I'd pursue along with the RA Superiors.
Popular Post GVan
An HdM Epicure Deluxe (ATE AGO-19) with my son-in-law @Devo. We were just out in his back yard smoking and talking -- and the amazing flavors that came off those two cigars are still in my memory. One of the most interesting flavors was sweet butter - we both got tons of this flavor through the middle half of these cigars. We went inside and were so excited to tell our wives about this great cigar that tasted like butter -- they accused us of making the taste up and told us when ever we get to a cigar that tastes like buttered-popcorn they would finally join us for a smoke! We all laughed - but I still remember that butter flavor! 6
Popular Post Toast & Taste
RASS - EPM NOV 18. A young RA stick that is very impressive. Rich, layered flavors and perfect burn. I smoked half the box during the month and have decided to rest the remainder for a year. I'm a fan of the RASS, but this box surprised me in how good it was. I have a few 50 cabs laid down, and if they are anything like this box, I will be happy. Big Al
RDB
It’s all regular production, if you include LCDH. No need for those expensive specialties it seems.

Popular Post PuroDiario
An 8 year old Monte #2 with my 88 y.o. grandfather after txuletas lunch finishing a bottle of Macan Clasico 2010 we had opened for the meal. Just one of those you feel are perfectly fitting the moment, the meal, the conversation, reminiscing about good family times, etc. Just great
