Popular Post Bijan
Random review, just because this cigar was such a battle. This one had some wrapper damage in a few places so I was kind of dreading it a bit. Used a 12mm punch cut and draw was ok (cigar was 18.5g but I didn't grab my usual weigh in picture), but a bit tight. Didn't use the perfecdraw for fear of hurting the wrapper that was already in bad shape. Started out with wood with some fruity notes. Draw got tighter as it went less and less smoke output. Broke down and used the perfecdraw because it was getting worse and worse. Got a huge plug of tobacco out, and draw immediately improved, as did flavour (got spice and cloves and cream a bit later and eventually vanilla) but wrapper burst soon after. Battled on, using up most of my butane and using the band to prevent the cigar from disintegrating completely. @Bigfatpuff this is what I meant when I said at least you got to the band before your wrapper gave out. Managed to get pretty close to the end. 2/5 due to having to wrestle the cigar every step of the way. At least I have some idea what these are like now. Managed to have my DC in the cold... @VKUTT reminds me of your battle with the dry-boxed cigar with the exploded wrapper (was it an 898?).
Chas.Alpha
I’m just impressed that you managed to nub an exploded DC in the snow! The sign of a warrior... 2
