Popular Post TobaccoRoad
I had a few various things to do out in my shop/man cave/smoking lounge this morning so I brought along a Cheap & Cheerful to keep me company. I've been working on this box from Oct 2018 for a while now and for the most part these have been consistent but pretty unremarkable smokes. This one was no exception. I've had good luck with these with a shallow straight cut so that's what I went with and the draw was fine. Just a little on the tight side like I prefer it. Cold flavors were hay and tobacco. 1st third: Not a great deal of flavors jumping out at me. Tobacco with a little soap and a sweet retrohale. 2nd third: Pretty much the same. On the plus side, I'm piddling around with a few things which results in me not puffing regularly. But the cigar performs fine. A little uneven on the burn from time to time but self corrects. Final third: Really the best part of the cigar. Thankfully the soapy flavor faded away and left just the tobacco and light coffee flavor. I quit my chores and nub it out. Not a bad smoke at all for the occasion. These are great for times when you're smoking while doing something else. The construction has been pretty spot on throughout this box. 7.5/10
