Popular Post triphitter
This 1/4 box of Churchills were received on 3/1 and I did not give it very long to break one out (as I have never had one before). Construction was great, wrapper looked velvety and shiny. I got a cherry flavor right off the first rip. Very surprising to me at the time (as I have never had one before), but it seems from other reviews that cherry is pretty common. The first third was powered with continued cherry and cream. The 2nd third was much of the same but with some spice and dough coming into the picture. The draw from the start was a little resistant but was now loosening up nicely. The cherry/berry faded away nicely and was replaced with cedar notes. The final 3rd produced a very creamy smoke and cedar and mild spices. It was so good I forgot to take a final picture. First 50F day in a while and finished the cigar off on a walk. What a pleasant and surprising 2+ hour smoke. Probably my favorite cigar in the humidor right now.
smbauerllc
Very nice. Just received my first RyJ Churchills a couple weeks ago and haven't tried one yet. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Plan on letting my remaining 5 sit for a bit, or until the summer hits and have some time to enjoy in an evening.

I like to always include a mini review when I post a Cigar in the FOH'ers Daily Smoke thread. Not sure of the box date as they were bought as Singles, and before I found out my vendor will send box date codes for singles if requested. Most of what I have been getting from them is 2019 or 2020. Have been letting them rest and acclimate a bit, plus need to be in the mood for something with such a long smoke time. Very excited to try one though as I have read nothing but good things about them. Have even heard them referred to as the "quintessential Cuban Churchill "
