From the markings on the bottom of the box I can tell where they came from.

The "DEIR" had to do with a coded pricing system that was used from the 1920s to the 1970s. The Code was "DEVONSHIRT", similar to the Habanos NIVELACUSO, though the devonshirt code was used for pricing rather than dating. It's not the easiest to work out as Ireland and the UK used pre-decimal currency at the time, so it was pounds, shillings and pence, with 12 pennies to a shilling and 20 schillings to a pound.
