Popular Post Çnote
I had opportunity to have an extended time at a divan. As I usually smoke coronas and smaller, but had several hours to fill, I grabbed the biggest in the NC brands I've been waiting longest to try. 1st up, Sobramesa Brulee. Choosing this for a 1st up is a no brainer. Light Golden Connecticut wrapper. It's huge. Unfortunately, this divan and my friend only had straight cuts, this really needed a large punch or a v, we'll get to that later. Easy to light, even with the large diameter, soft and easy from the 1st puffs. This is very pleasant for the next 2 hours, but doesn't go anywhere. Monolithically custard, golden syrup, condensed milk. It's great with the conversation, but it's not a distraction. Incredible value for the time. Unfortunately by the time I got to the last few inches, the open draw had turned the usually most enjoyable part bitter. +1 for keeping a vcut handy in the car. 7/11 I'll gladly get another and would even hide a few of these away to see what 5 years does to them, there's some meat on the bone, but I'd have rather chained out 3 marevas.
Mrcpt
I’ve had the robusto, not a bad cigar at all. Saka swears he didn’t put a sweet tip on it but there’s definitely some sugar there IMO.

JohnInCleveland
A buddy of mine gave me one. Beautiful construction and as good of a NC as I’d had. I’d buy a box if given the chance and they weren’t overpriced. Which I’m sure they probably are.
prshah25
Nice review! I just picked a few Brûlée blues. Waiting for them to acclimate!

Just Google away... 12 minutes ago, prshah25 said: Nice review! I just picked a few Brûlée blues. Waiting for them to acclimate! I was looking for those.... I meant if a Girl Scout knocked at my door and offered me a box with my thin mints. I don’t chase NC’s, there’s more than enough Cubans to piss away my life savings on. I don’t turn them down or put my nose up to em, just not my passion. The occasional trade with my NC friend is always fun though.

I didn't get any of the almonds or coffee or caramel that the Blue backbones on. I'll be looking for a Blue to try, esp as exactly what the concept is.
prshah25
From what I was told the Blues were a one time production run.. they are not regular production.

wine65
I've had quite a few Brulee Blues and Brulee Toros love them in the AM with coffee. Subtly sweet tipped - without a doubt
