pelicans out in force

Recommended Posts

I see two pelicans.

........I was expecting a herd of 50 or more

I look forward to

"Ghost crabs out in force"

......Went for my morning walk and saw  two ghost crabs who had dug TWO HOLES! Both holes around the size of a 20 cent piece. crabs appeared restless.

thanks. nice that some members appreciate the effort and don't spend their entire lives in dismal negativity. no names, rob.

Truly gorgeous birds. Always love watching them skim the water for fish.

Instead of looking for a new house, why don't you move straight into a nursing home now.

if it would stop you visiting, i'd have been there decades ago!

You are in a funk Ken.

Stop knitting your quilt and go get your fishing rod. For goodness sake, you said you didn't go fishing yesterday because you couldn't find your fishing gloves or fishing booties.

Harden up!

What happened to the Ken who would reduce elderly ladies on the beach to tears for walking on the wrong side of the sand?

You use to kick down kids sandcastles....... not photograph them for "Architects Journal"

You are now pushing turtles back into the water in order to save them (I am pretty sure they are trying to lay eggs on the beach but whatever....). You use to flip them over!

Take off your cardigan and find your mojo Ken!

I look forward to tomorrows morning beach walk post :D

did the dawn walk this morning and the pelicans were very active (one woman must have seen the pigeon video as she picked up her little dog and waddled off as fast as she could).

we had a full moon one side and sunrise the other.

NIce pic didn't know there was a black and white version. Our Pelicans are drab brown here on the west coast of CA and Mexico.  Seagulls are the same.

You sure that's not just because of smog staining your pelicans? :P
