Boys will be boys: Your worst (non cigar) impulsive buy of 2021 to date

Arrived yesterday.

BLACK & DECKER Foldable Workmate Dual Height Workbench WM536-XE

Unfortunately I broke my Jigsaw last week within 2 hours of pulling it out of the new box.

.....I have no other power tools.

The good news is that I bought this work bench on points  :ok:

The bad news is that I accidentally clicked twice and am now an owner of two of them

That’s a bit lightweight for my purposes, otherwise I’d take the 2nd one off your hands. 😀

It still has a use, Rob. As a reminder to not shopping online when inebriated. :lol3:

And please explain how you broke a brand new jigsaw?

Yeah, I had nothing for that either. Is it possible that he broke the blade and thinks the whole saw is ruined?

Cleared out his storage bin. Model rockets, think 6-7 boxes of Sir Winstons...😳

It got some speed wobbles on some grass tiles.

Now the engine is whirring......but there is no jiggy jiggy to the blade.

.........I don't want to get too techical ;)

Why the fudge were you using a jigsaw to cut grass tiles? You only need a stanley knife to do that.

You probably have bits of fake grass in the mechanism.

Great pickup!  I love the ONE I have and sometimes wish I had two!

I bought a stupid expensive pen…haven’t used it yet.
But I’m irresponsibly and rigorously honing in on another. A mentality I’m sure is not lost on some of the fine people here…

From all I have heard about Rob and sharp objects including knives, from Rob himself mind you, if I were him I would trust myself more with a jigsaw than a Stanley knife too 😉😂
Stanley knives can be evil things. Had a few nasty lacerations to fingers myself in the past.

Theres no downside to this, remember that when you need a little extra height, or if your back gives out... simply clamp your Workmate into your Workmate.   A-la the classic forklift....lift...lift

My wife was the one who brought him home from a gal’s weekend. Very domesticated sweet cat whose vet bills are $600 and mounting… I have no regrets as Agnes is paying but she might be harboring some doubts. We are thinking of naming him "Beldar".

Stihl Kombi power unit and a few attachments. Love this thing.

I have a Stihl Kombi, but upgraded recently to a Makita 36v Power Head with pole saw, hedge trimmer and extension pole.

This is supposed to be a thread about regrets, not fantastic purchases

Shit...  Did not read that right.  I take back my post.  Have to think on worst purchase.  Probably food that spoiled way too quick.
