Zaxeiler
Full review now that answers have been posted: FOH International Blind Tasting Competition: Cigar Number 1 (Petit Corona? ? X ??, unknown box code or date, ~70 min, 11/4/21) Aroma is barnyard and a little chocolate, foot is drier as usual, very light peanut. Cold draw is standard sweet fermented tobacco. Loads of smooth cedar upon light up. Atypically smooth. An inch in, the cedar is perhaps slightly sweeter, maybe a little honey? At this point, mostly a sweetened cedar, little floral notes. Leaning towards RyJ, but that leaves three options, and Bolivar is still a realistic possibility. At the middle third, it’s gotten stronger earth/leather and black pepper, spicy in the back of the throat, cedar has faded. Halfway though, just a touch of cream (very light) emerges. I’m feeling Bolivar is the front runner. In the back third, getting darker still, maybe a hint of vanilla. Touch more cream in the very end. Final guess - Bolivar Petit Corona. Decent nic hit, light buzz after dinner. Even burn, slightly too tight draw, but one pass of the PerfecDraw made it right. Same size as a Monte 4, RyJ Mille Fleur, and Bolivar PC, etc.
