I can't tell you how proud of these we are N1 Lancero Colorado Maduro We loved the 2019 N1 Lancero. Hell, the world loved the 2019 N1 Lancero. What we wanted to do in 2021 is introduce just a touch of sweetness to the blend and that was achieved by a few tweaks including the introduction of a quality colorado maduro wrapper. We nailed it. What we have produced in my opinion is one of the best Lancero’s in the world today. Sweet barnyard aroma at cold. Perfect daw. Smooth as silk with a cocoa and shortbread biscuit profile. There is not a hint of a pepper edge. If you love Montecristo Especiales or Trinidad Fundadores you will love these. N1 Lancero Colorado Rosado The 2019 N1 Lancero was one fine cigar but we have taken it to a whole new level. The upgrade in the 2021 wrapper combined with a slight blend tinker has seen a beautiful cream and toasted almond profile come into play. It reminds us so much of the discontinued H. Upmann Lonsdale but with a perfect draw. Again, smooth as silk with no edges or bite. The 2021 N1 lancero is a serious upgrade on what was a very good cigar. We are proud as punch! N1 Ebony and Ivory. The best of both worlds! 30 cigar pack comprising : 15 N1 Lancero Colorado Maduro and 15 N1 Lancero Colorado Rosado There is a little saving in there for the “Ebony and Ivory” package as we can pass on the shipping saving. Both cigars have forced their way into my regular rotation. Both cigars share the same unmistakeable DNA but finish differently on the palate. I am reaching more for the colorado maduro right now as they are brilliant but the colorado rosado may ultimately turn out to be the better cigar in six to 12 months. Their won’t be much in it. Try them both in the Ebony and Ivory pack. N3 Carlota Colorado Maduro I smoke these and/or the colorado rosado pretty much every day. They weigh in at 9 gm which is surprisingly more than a petit corona (8.46 gm). The colorado maduro flavour profile will remind you of a mix between the Montecristo Number 4 and Rafael Gonzalez Coronas Extra.Construction is immaculate.With the N3 line we wanted to create smooth, tasty and affordable cigars that you would look forward to smoking every day. We significantly changed the 2021 colorado rosado from the 2019 version. I love a touch of mongrel but I needed to introduce some creaminess to balance out the cigar. Mission accomplished and the end result is very similar to a H. Upmann petit corona. You are going to love it and it provides a beautiful flavour contrast to the colorado maduro. You will find these have a sweeter profile both in the CM and the CR. The CR in the Lancero and the Carlota has that "shortbread/butter" note. More cocoa in the CM. The Carlota are maybe 20% fuller in body than the Lancero and that is exactly where I wanted them to be. I have been enjoying the Tabaquero corona and Robusto of late. 5 years has done them wonders. The corona was ruthlessly strong at release. You have be careful when playing with Nic Ligero.
