Popular Post djrey
I am continuing to incorporate NC cigars back in my rotation to make my Cubans go further. Found this little guy in my humi. Probably about 2 years of age on it at this point. Lights up nicely with a firm but manageable draw. Pepper is present but certainly not the classic punch from some of Pete's normal blends. This is much more tame. Thought it could be a results of the aging. Cigar continues on beautifully. A bit of harshness is present that I have found to be the norm with almost all Nicaraguans. I never could retrohale until I began exclusive CC smoking. I attempted with this and burned my nose pretty good. Overall a solid smoke paired with a nice espresso. Sad to report though, that Cuban minutos are still king. 86 pts.
Sir Diggamus
I love this little guy. I find it a great blend of pepper and baking spices.
canadianbeaver
Great review and thank you! Just acquired 2 boxes of Black band petite Piramides, or as they are, torpedoes I guess lol. We adored them when we were so new at smoking cigars back in 2010 or so. Friends we knew here in FOH then liked them too. I am pretty sure, like pot today, I am finding Tatuaje a different strength and variety then back then. Going to let them age as you suggest and give them a go. They may be exactly what you want right now!
