A Few Faves

These are a few favorites - wines I don't drink often, but always enjoy:

Clos Du Marquis - St. Julien Bordeaux France

Le Terrazze Sassi Neri - Le Marche Italy

Ferrari Carano Sienna - Sonoma California

Hess Select Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa California

Maglieri Cabernet Sauvignon - McLaren Vale Australia

These are just a few - the list could go on, and on, and on..........

I like good pinot noir, but I've found it hard to find truly good ones. Most of

the "inexpensive" ones I've tried have been thin, watery, and acidic. And,

unfortunately, some higher priced examples haven't fared much better. But, at

their best, I love them.

big fan of this but it did go from top value to worth drinking but exy, at least in our neck of the woods.

maglieri usually good value but did build the fortune on a local lambrusco that sold massive amounts, which was why mildara (then mildara blass then beringer blass now fosters) stepped in and paid a bigger fortune.
