Hendricks Gin

I have never been a big gin drinker. Mostly a summer sensation with gin, tonic and a lime twist.

But anyone who has not tried this gin should! It is very smooth with hints of cucumber.

Oh and makes a nice gin rickey as well IMHO!

That does it I am mixing some up tonight! LOL! I just talked myself into it! :-D

You know its funky when the packaging tells you that even gin drinkers may not like the unique taste. This stuff is just hideous. I have never, and hopefully never again will, taste a gin such as Hendrick's.

Good luck to you. Thats why some of these hobbies of opurs are so enjoyable. There are as many palates as there are drinks/smokes.

To each his own poison.

» I love it, and my wife loves it. It's a good gin, you just have to be able

My wife gave up drinking 12 years ago.

....this could be the thing to get her started again ;-)

I agree ... I like Hendricks with a splash of tonic. No lime for me. Very unique taste that I prefer to stand alone. I did, though, once try to make a not-so-dry martini with Hendricks. Big mistake. Almost had to pay respects to the porcelain god.

I like Hendricks. It's different - I usually drink it straight up for martinis. Try Magellan gin. It's great - very smooth! When it first came out, it had a blue tinge to it, but now it comes clear. Guess the color was a little offputting - looked like you were drinking Windex!

» Hey Jim how are you... I have not had the Hendrick's but have been

» drinking one called Plymoth which is quite good. It has a very bright and

» crisp taste. I still like Tanqueray the best for J&T's.

Hey Reid, feeling much better thanks.

Yea Plymouth is very smooth and I like it too. Wasnt Plymouth the favorite of Roosevelt?

I find it doesnt have the bite of some and I like that.
