Tampa1257
I was looking for something to give me nice flavor for that extra 15-20 that I find to have a cigar. Something cheap, small and flavorful. I have not tried these yet, as I keep a 30 day waiting period for adjustments from travel to stabelize. Anyone try these before? Rob, I can tell you now, you have 4 more boxes sold as soon as you get them. Tampa

Tampa1257
» They're "Bits of Havana". 29 x 4 1/8". A discontinued MM vitola. Actually they are still on Habanos S.A.'s Catelog as being a regular item. http://www.habanos.com/vitolariomarcas.asp?mar=3 It has been my understanding that Ramon Allones is one of the Marcas that is only produced when the exact leaf is available. What I mean is that it is not a massively produced marca, so if they do not have the exact leaf from the exact field available, then they roll maybe a Hoyo or a Bolivar pr a Montecristo. one of the more "Global" Brands. smk819
I used to smoke them all of the time until Rob ran out. I love them, they used to be my morning drive to work cigar.
El Presidente
Bloody nice small gauge machine made. Has not been made (as far as I know) since Mid 2004. It actually went off the scene at the same time as the Partagas Culebra and other high end machine mades. I believe it is more to do with problems (operational and contractual) the the new dedicated machine mades factory. My favourite 20 minute short babies: HDM Le Hoyo Du Maire ERMD Demi Tasse R&J Petite Julieta. Cohiba Panetela

But maybe 15 minutes for me. Cohiba Panatellas are good, but I cant see the kind of money thay go for since you can get a box of ...well alot of other robustos or that. PigFish
I wish you could come up with some Bolivar Demi Tasse Bwana. These put the ERdM to shame although I like them both. The Monte Joyita is a nice little smoke as well. Hmmm, I may just have one now! -Piggy » Bloody nice small gauge machine made. » » Has not been made (as far as I know) since Mid 2004. Spud2
The only real small ring size I've tried were the ERMD Demi Tasse. Won't buy them again, I'll have to try some of the others mentioned here like the Cohiba Panetela. :-|

stevejb
Gotta admit that the 1990 ERDM demis are simply amazing. I like the Party Chico as a quickie. Been looking for an intact box of Boli demis and chicos forever but to no avail. How are the RG PE's?
ironman
I agree with the 1990 ERDM demis Tasse, the only problem is my wife loves it as well:-( Ironman
SoCalSmoker
How are the RG PE's? I love the RGPE's. Fairly cheap and good flavor profile. Just got some RyJ Mille Fluers (hard to locate it seems) and will try them in 3-4 days. Sure wish I could buy some Cohiba Panatelas in the $75-99 range. Somebody run a super special, please. They are the tastiest small smokes I've ever had!
novasurf
I almost bought the nub of a friends '82 Davidoff at the Grand Havana Room tonight. But he was sweating a little bit, so I declined...LOL!
kona peaberry
I also like the parti chico. My favorite is, H. Upmann Petit Upmann Rafael Gonzalez Panatelas Extra
Jimmy2
I know where you can get plenty of them... They are know to have draw problems. RA Small Club Coronas are a much better choice and of course they cost a little more. Hope you enjoy them.
sparks
Never had draw problems with them. Good little smoke.
