Deep and jammy on the start, with a rather dry, tannic finish. Richly spicy

on the back of the tongue. A sense of high alcohol. The spice/alcohol make

this a rather hot wine. Not totally integrated at this point.

I like the fact that there isn't an overwhelming oakiness. I do have to admit

that I didn't give this one much air time. This is a big wine.

I don't recall the price, but worth a shot if you come across it.

Post Script: About two hours into this "tasting session", the tannins, and the

wine overall, smoothed out and became more integrated.
