CIGARHead
Wow..huge difference. Kinda like working in a cubicle as opposed to that corner office with a view of the water...well not really, but much better:-P
Havanaaddict
Very nice and I am happy for the people but when they have all been updated it will not be the same as that old going back in time feeling when oyu walk in the door :-(

Finding the balance is important. I know many will find it hard to believe, but those working conditions at the Upmann factory are perhaps the best in Cuba for manufacturing workers. ThreeD
Nice pictures. If the Partagas Factory was better than the RyJ Factory then RyJ must of been tiny. I really enjoyed the pictures. Good work Prez

El Presidente
I have a few photo's of the rolling room within the new H. Upmann factory. You will notice the better working conditions as compared to Partagas Factory. Partagas was 5 times better than the Romeo y Julieta Factory which has now closed for re-furbishment. H. Upmann Factory is certainly not perfect but it is more comfortable, much better lighting, more room, better food etc. They still have the Lector out from reading. The factory has an excellent sense of commaraderie which reflects in the cigars they are currently rolling (some of the best in Cuba). H. Upmann had a zero return rate (post Habanos s.a inspection) for the past 12 months. This is something they are very proud of.
