I have the Jubilee Portuguese, and it is definitely one watch I will take to the grave with me ... excellent beautiful piece.

BTW, there is a limited edition for their Milan boutique with a blue face ... simply gorgeous, and it may be worth keeping an eye on the watch auctions for...

The Jubilee is def a nice piece. I also like the Portofino big date. Also a watch that I've recently been warming up to is the Bremont ALT1-WT world time just a great looking watch. I often times limit myself to only a few watches to docys on since I'm a big guy and I need a larger face watch for my wrust

How much is a watch like that?

List price is 69k Discounted price from local boutique if around 50ish. This will be a very complicated trade deal with several of my others going on the chopping block. Hopefully my gold sub will cover a good chunk of it

That Laco looks sweet,  and affordable.

Can anyone give me feedback on this piece?

Just to confuse matters a little ... if you like this one, you may also like the pilot's watches by another German maker: Archimede.  Very decent construction, reliable, and even more affordable than the Laco.

This one is mine:

I picked up my first timepiece whilst on a Caribbean cruise last week. I have been eyeing up a Tag for quite a while now and my Apple Watch just didn’t suit my new wedding ring. This is the Aquaracer 41mm Calibre 5. My first of many??

I currently wear an Apple Watch for my daily wear, when I'm doing manual work or going off the grid I wear one of my G-Shocks. These guys have been through several war zones, a couple IED blasts, temperature swings going from 120 F in the Middle East to -15 F in the mountains, weeks in the field where you're constantly wet and dirty, sand storms, and blizzards; You name it and these guys can take it.    IMG_0126.thumb.JPG.6afe41545a42b3c885646ac29f8f035e.JPG

As far as fancy watches go I'm a pocket watch guy. I love old railroad watches, something about the precision and history of them really appeals to me. Heres my Hamilton 992B.

Where in the US was that made?  My 'hood is where watchmaking took hold in USA (Waltham, MA).

@BrightonCorgi  The watch was made sometime in 1948 according to the serial number and it was produced in Lancaster, PA. The 992 series are really nice and super accurate I think they could lose 15 seconds a week at most to be railroad certified.

** I checked the watches could lose 30sec/week max to be certified Railroad watches. The 992B however was built to only lose 15sec/week. **

Thanks! I’m hunting down a RG offshore but my authorized dealer won’t give me the usual 20% off I get till January cause they sell more during the holidays..

Check out the dealer in Charlotte NC. They are dealing big time. The cheapest prices that I have found. Make sure you talk to Ross. He has the authority to make deals. I think I was quoted  55 k for the brick. If you like PM me and u will walk you through the drill
