I think it would be an interesting exercise for members to use no more than 5 "terms" to classify the following Marques. One of the terms must relate to body. Now there are obvious cigars within a Marque which bare different charachteristics but what we are looking for is your consensus description of the Marque as you see it So no more than 4 descriptive flavour terms and one term for body/strength. If you do not have experience in a brand, leave it free and move on. I will let this run until I get back from havana then collate the information into a spreadsheet and post it in the classic post section for constant referral. To Cuaba I'd like to add "grassy" and "peanut" (Salomones). To ERDM I'd like to add "floral". Agree about something "vanilla" or "bean" in most Cohibas. I'll just add on some ammendments: El Rey Del Mundo Differs way too much to justify 1980-2000 ERDM have a much different profile than modern 'weird' ERDM, i'd say they're almost LGC mixed with the spice of Montecristo real shame as the only thing close to old ERDM profile are two rare (and i mean RARE) Baltic regionals. the Choix de L'Epoque and the one other Swiss regional. never had the anniversario ERDM but it does sound like a gimmick. and if memory suits me: Benelux had an ERDM regional too? Sancho Panza before anyone shits on this marca and calls it: smokey fresh air, try it next time with a pint of distilled water. it really brings out the small flavour profiles in the sancho panzas now and aged. but one thing this marca does is stand up to the NCs and prove what they can do. can't remember an NC being tasteful and light at the same time. I've heard the brand described as "honey nut cheerios" ....that sums it up well IMHO. I have also found Honey Nut Cheerios do not stay lit.....so I buy PLs. heh heh....you've been a great crowd....don't forget to tip your waiter. ehh....
