Did you manage to throw Ken that for up the side street across from the deck after he confirmed it was he who left the ash in your $800 ash tray.:-D

BRISBANE (AFP) - Tragedy was narrowly averted this afternoon as Bribane police were able to peacefully resolve a hostage situation at Friends of Habanos House.

Details are sketchy, but a bespectacled woman was led away in handcuffs, muttering, "I run the show around here while he sits around smoking and drinking. I wasn't about to clean his damned ashtrays too."

When asked for comment, FOH owner Rob Ayala replied cryptically, "I give her outburst 4.5/6 smokerings. She just needs a vacation is all. If she can get the remaining Holiday orders processed, we'll ship her off to Cuba, and then to America for a little while. She needs the rest, as 2008 should be a banner year for our business, and someone has to hold down the fort while I fish and ride Harleys."

» Long Story........will tell Monday

»

» But make up your own in the meantime ;-)

your wife found at that you no longer work in real estate?

re the ashtray, we have established that, while i take full credit, sorry responsibility, for placing ash in said items (and for christ's sake, they are bloody ashtrays, what else are they for?), i was given full permission to do so by that schoolboy you are in the process of corrupting, minismithy.

and nothing to do with me. this post was the first i knew of anything untoward at czars (okay, that is not true, i meant untoward specifically in relation to this event).

and love the news report.

Beautifully written Tigger :rotfl: :rotfl:

I did have to provide a police statement (rare experience being on the other side).

Nothing as interesting as Tiggers

I was corrupting minismithy with a cigar and a few drinks on the deck late Friday Afternoon. Very enjoyable way to end the week when we heard a female screaming and shouting for help across the road. We couldn't see the people involved as I assumed they were in the carpark at the back of the house pictured.

A male then ran out of the house smashing a womans handbag on the road...he ran back into the property and the screaming started again.

I called 000, the operator put me through to the police service and I gave them the address details but as the screams continued I told the operator I was going to go across the road now....and to please send backup as quickly as possible.

I left Minismithy behind as I didn't want to explain to his mother why he was in hospital with a knife wound  and I jogged to the carpark at the back of the property where one woman was hysterical and having an asthma attack while the guy stood over her yelling and generally being an arse. I asked him to step away from the woman. He told me to go forth and mulitply by myself.

Small standoff but he eventually moved away. I called an ambulance. Further standoff but nothing got ugly, just a series of icy stares, he telling me to bugger off and I calmly kept telling him to keep his distance from the lady.

4 squad cars and an ambulance arrived within 4-5 minutes.....and I was happy to see them.

Both were taken away.

Just another peacefull Friday afternoon

» You 'Jogged' that would be a first!!

»

» Did you put down your cigar and glass of wine first or kept both in hand

» as you 'Jogged'?

I put down the wine. The Cohiba Robusto (ABR 07....excellent cigar...medium full with rich flavour) came with me as my support team ;-)

I cursed that I forgot to take the Table Torch lighter we use on the deck.

You caught me out Smithy.....after the Jog I actually called the ambulance for myself.

» » Wow Prez. sounds like you need to add "hero" to your bio on the "meet

» My wife suggested "Idiot"

Isn't it funny how they all want a hero , then you marry them and you become an idiot for helping someone.
