jquest63
Havana Cigar of Connoisseurs: DVD Janson Media, 2005 59 min. English and Spanish Versions As I'm always on the prowl for anything Cuban cigar related, I couldn't resist purchasing this documentary style overview of the Habanos. With images and interviews this production gives an interesting overview of the Habanos. Using stills, lithos, vintage film stock and relatively recently shot footage you're taken on a tour of Habanos history and the entire tobacco/cigar process from Planting through Retail sales. Various locations shot and interviews throughout. Locations include: Havana, London, Madrid, Cigar Factories and Retail shops. Interviews with cigar enthusiasts, historians, retailers and Habanos personnel. Interesting tidbits like: Bull Fighting and Cigars go hand in hand. Even Churchill and Zino make appearances. Well worth the $20 to purchase and the 1 hour to watch. Enjoy
