Not that I would wish to quibble, but my initial feeling was said mites were very much visitors (although am more than happy to accept, that we will never know, and there is an equal chance, they were domestic to these parts)  There were around about 100 mites on that cigar in question, and they had spilled of to the 898 10 count box (only containing box pass cigars),  onto around about 15 boxes beneath (which I had to freeze). 

I feel very sorry that you had a shock,  but I feel as if I very much got the bigger fright, and frosty aftermath!

The right thing to do as a gracious FOH is always to promptly and privately make all those who may be affected know of any problems they may have with their cigars.  this is exactly what I did

Lets be Gentlemen on the matter and call them "our bloody woodmites" ??

Montecristo Especiales No.2 LAU May 2016

Why is the Montecristo Especial and Especiales No.2 so, so good? These long and skinny cigars, which share the same dimensions as the Cohiba Lanceros and Cohiba Coronas Especiales, just never seem to disappoint, no matter if they are young (12 to 24 months), rested (2 to 4 years) or aged (5 years and over). This was a little over 2-and-a-half years old but it smoked so smoothly. I shared one with Trevor Leask, the founder of Cuban Cigar Website, and we both were in agreement...for Montecristo it was quite, quite good. I enjoyed the Montecristo cocoa, milk coffee and nut but it was the floral edges and baking spice which I really enjoyed, something which I equate to cigars that are refined and rested or aged.

Mine was a flippant comment for which I apologise as it obviously tweaked your nads a little. But, yes, the issue was dealt with swiftly with a little research, communication and comradeship and we all came through. That which does not kill us (or eat our cigars) makes us stronger.

I would only feel a light tweeking of the nads,  if I ever felt, you thought I'd been out of hand.  I'm 100% sure thats not the case.  Peace and Victory are ours✌️

No pics, but I took a pair of HdM Epi 2s to go smoke with a buddy I haven’t seen for a few years. Box code FIM MAR 05. 

Both of us were blown away. Not by strength, but by complexity and depth. We both nubbed them when our fingers were burning. Damn, I wish I had another cab of these!

AMR May 14 on the Petit Quintero. These have been my bread and butter for first cigar the past month. Will seek out more, many more of them.

Then Siglo II of unknown date, probably fairly young with a bit harshness.

First verified CC, PSP/HQ from our host.  Wonderful experience.  Previous reviews were spot on, though youth for my palette didn't present until half way through the last third.  Salted pretzel and caramel for the finale.  Can't wait to see where these go in time.
