Peppery, leather and a little cocoa. Great even burn though the whole time. I really enjoyed the 2015 version of this cigar. I'm smoking the 2014 version's little brother the La Imperiosa right now

MaxG
I welcomed Hermine to North Carolina yesterday with a Mag 46. It could be noted that it took a flippin' hurricane to produce the most pleasant smoking weather of the summer here, but that would be too depressing, so I won't mention it. - MG
Danimalia
Had a Crowned Heads night last night. First the La Imperiosa (double robusto, I think?). Then, a new one. Le Careme Cosaco. Wow. That cigar really caught me off guard. Very creamy, but with a significant punch to it. Semi-sweet dark chocolate all the way through, with intermittent spice.

Popular Post stevem
The time has come to enjoy this Hoyo De Monterrey DC, 1 week before my upcoming weeding and couldn't have found a better cigar to sit down with and finalize some vows etc. withStarted out smooth and creamy, very enjoyable through the nose and magnificent burnHit a bit of a wind tunnel when the ash fell off after the first third but recovered after a bitGetting down to the band, lots of smoke output and the cream has come back, got a little hot at the end, then just toasty tobacco to finish off the stick.Overall a 91, about 1h 45min would have been higher without the hot finish, however very pleased with this cigar.Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

torsion
Friday was another damn fine day. After managing to get another pass from the wife I met my friend Mike Choi for another herf (casa_puro_ltd is his IG handle) and we visited a shop/lounge called The Cigar Room in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Was my first time over there and again thanks to Mike for the introduction to William Flores and Carlos Gomez who own the shop and also run La Hoja Cigars. First started off with the ERdM Espana RE (excellent little cigar) followed by the La Hoja Edicion Crema 1962 (my appreciation for New World cigars is definitely changing as I really liked this!) ending with the Cohiba Robusto Supremos '14 EL.All first time tries again.Mike gifted me all 3!That guy...to make it worse he gave me another Robusto Supremos to take home...Least I could do was give him one of my last Trini Robo T that I had bought along with me which he enjoyed. He also bought along some Santiago de Cuba Anejo rum - wow loved that stuff and really my first proper try of a decent rum.I like to support local B&M stores so bought a few sticks, some of which considered HTF, most I've never tried and as above I'm opening my mind to New World cigars
