I hope our host is able to get some of these. Gets a bit of tar buildup but I just wiped it off and the bitterness was gone. Very surprised. achiappetti Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 What flavors did you get out of it?You know for me they are hard to pin down. In my opinion this little smoke has some complexity to it. With many smokes it's hard for me to say exactly what it is I'm tasting. My palate has grown tremendously yet I still struggle to name everything I taste. My mouth recalls the flavor although my brain can't find the name.This cigar moves in and out of creamy with some cinnamon and maybe light cocoa and coffee. Definitely some leather some spice as well... Nutmeg, allspice? Can't nail it down. I think this is why I enjoy it so much, it keeps my attention and everyone I've had seems to be slightly better than the last. Thank you for asking. Personally I think I prefer it better in the petite robusto. IMO I think the flavors stand out more in that vitola. My apologies, I would give you some tasting notes, but my palate isn't refined enough yet. It needed to be brisk with the -14 temperatures outside! I found a very reasonably priced siglo vi which I enjoyed with some red wine.
