Haha, no, this has truly been one of the longer-lasting PCs (which would led me mention it). While I am certainly more on the slower-smoking end of the spectrum (a good Reyes can last me 75 min), this was a pretty well-filled (some would say overfilled) and perfectly bunched cigar I chose. Its all in the construction. You automatically adopt a different way of smoking with such a stick, which I enjoy very much. This particular example was demonstrating again that a proper construction is one of the basic prerequisites for a perfect flavour development. Draw way more open than I would like it, burning a bit hot near the end. A rare true underperforming, but still not bad, specimen of what's an otherwise very good release, in my book. I believe all SCdlH and Diplomaticos are made there, along with some Punch, HdM, PL, and I'm sure others. It's well regarded, and I've had nothing but good smokes from them.
