They were much more popular about 10 years ago when even the Governator nominated them as his favorite. They also had a larger more handsome band. Since then I had heard they were going through a rough few years and the quality was poor - plus I had so many other Corona Gordas to try. This one today has been an enjoyable smoke, not quite like how I remember the PP being a lovely sweet aroma from the wrapper but a worthy addition to the collection. Smooth, mellow and medium bodied. It was outstanding - if anything, even better than the Sir Winstons I've had from the same year. Wonder if the newer years that are still available some places are as good as these... Smoooooooooth.
