Juan "Pau" Padrón born June 30th 1933 is going home. We weren't close. I was raised away from him. He remained in Cuba when we came. I had that same experience with RA Gigantes before when it’s not harsh but just lacks flavor. Sometimes it just takes an extended nap time for the flavors to emerge. So much flavor in such a small (and relatively old) cigar. I have an FoH member to thank for these! On that note, I thank my Canadian friend @BellevilleMXZ for this Diplo which I had to celebrate the coming of fall in Arkansas. I owe you! Man does it have a lot of umph to it, perhaps more than I could handle but nonetheless. This will be a fantastic cigar in a couple of years. Kinda reminded me of the Cuban regional of the same marca from a few years but possibly the best construction I've seen in any Cuban cigar the past three years.
