Popular Post Grateful13
First smoke in the sunroom of my new house. RJ Short Churchill from the aged sampler. AGU OCT 07. Had a really uneven burn on one side from start to finish, probably due to the serious box press. Many touch ups didn’t help. Flavorwise, was not at all what I was expecting too 5

Popular Post KKFF
Spicy Monte 5 with a good bit of age while watching the Pats Chiefs game. Great stick.
Popular Post mtd057
Partagas Short, AUM Mar 2015. Very nice, great construction and draw. 1st one from this box and I really enjoyed it (unlike the Saints game). Nice mix of pepper, leather and cream. If it wasn't so cold, I might have another. Let's go Chiefs!

Ran out of those and hit up a local shop and tried this on his recommendation. A very rare nc for me and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Flew from Seattle to Vancouver to take the red-eye to Toronto. Unfortunately they posted a 2+ hour delay so I got some food and then a CoSho. Finally arrived home this morning after a brutal journey for what would be a 5 hour flight if they had a direct one at the time I needed it. Want sleep tonight so skipped the Americano and trying a new Root Beer with a HQ ABO ABR 16 HU46. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Did you stop by Union Cigar Society in Seattle? That’s a local shop for me and wouldn’t be surprised if they recommended that Warped! I’ve bought plenty from them over the years. ?

I only smoked the one, but it was delicious for sure. I’m not too proud to admit when I make an exception to my general dislike for a marca. Siglo 1 and exquisito; noella; petit royale; the very rare monte 2 and the leyenda i enjoyed. ? 1

Popular Post RDB
Very nice 2017 claro CoRo today in chilly London. Really mild in body, but with good flavour, the classic grassy sweetness. Paired with peppermint tea and a spoonful of dark honey. Unusual thing about cigar and drink pairing is that like goes with like, very different from wine where you want contrast.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk QDO 50 - Mild flavored smoke. Uneven burn, flavors faded in & out. More towards morning kinda smoke for me. Cohiba Medio Siglo - Strong flavors from start to finish. Construction & burn was good. Both have creaminess & touch of wood. Preference would be Medio Siglo as the bold flavors were there from start till finish.

Popular Post mtd057
Can anyone help tell me what these spots are on this Partagas Lusi? This is the third stick from a 10pk (BUP Sept 17) and the only stick that has them. Outside of these spots, it was very well made - construction and burn were fine. The flavor wasn't as good as its box mates but that's probably me overthinking things.

Those green spots are thought to occur when the wrapper is curing (or drying out) and there are imperfections in spots to do with humidity, whereby the chlorophyll in the wrapper leaf remains, rather than turn brown. It has no effect on the taste of the cigar and there is nothing to worry about.
