I don't as a rule smoke cigars ROTT but today I did. I've waited a long time for this box to arrive from Oz due to the CV19 situation and it was bought as a *mostly UEB MAY 19. I even already had it recorded on my "Reserve" spreadsheet and a place made in my long term storage (with a note not to touch until 2022). However, they arrived with almost 2½ years in the bag so... why not? And I'd planned on a Punch Punch this evening so the size is right too.
It's beautiful, rich, creamy - cocoa, vanilla, touch of dark fruit. Just need to try and wait a couple of months at least for the next one, should be even better.

Ugly yet tasty ‘18 Monte 2.  Sweet cocoa and hazelnut.  In spite of the wrapper coming apart, the flavor delivery was constant.

In past years, my Robusto T attempts from this box (AGR SEP 10) have been intense beyond my ability to enjoy.  Years later, it's cream, cake, and dashes of white pepper.   Much better!  Probably a bit under-filled, though.  89 to 90 points, I'd say.

Started with a REG JUN 18 Montecristo No. 2. Cold draw was plugged, went at it with a PerfecDraw, thought I was good but ended up wasting 30 minutes before I gave up and chucked it. Lit up a 2017 BBF that is treating me well.

RASCC tonight... it's alright. These have been consistently underwhelming, but fine for a cold evening. April has been way colder than March here, weird.

I got one of these Illusione Garagistes last year, had it over the weekend... like getting kicked in the teeth, wasn't expecting the strength. Probably the last one of those Ill try.

Thanks.  Just did a total renovation.  Well, we started a total renovation.  It got put on hold when the lock down started.  The only rooms that are done are the kitchen and my daughter’s bathroom.  I’m hoping they can come back soon to finish all the rest of the rooms.  

The mug is my daughter’s, but I love the size so much (24oz), I commandeered it until the ones I ordered on amazon come.  It is great for a giant cappuccino.

Grabbed a "to go" dinner from Alinea restaurant tonight. Never thought I would utter those words in a million years. Traditional osso buco with risotto milanese and peas. 

Needed a walk around the block after that dinner. A Petite Royales did the job.

Nice! Glad you were able to get some done and yes, hopefully things will pass soon and they can get back to work. I was getting bids to totally redo my kitchen prior to this mess, unfortunately had to put everything on hold until this all passes. On the bright side, it has given me more time to research and think about  exactly what I want.

Here is the finished product, minus the crown moldings and some of the cabinet handles which still need to be done.

We used a really good decorator.  Maybe it will give you some ideas.
