This is the star of the Christmas sampler show so far for me. Wonderful aroma, like warm cookies of some sort.

Another one I really want to try. How does it compare to the other 3 RP QdOs right now? (50, 54, Corona) Or is it a totally different animal? Thanks.

It’s Aloha Friday! Or maybe it’s Saturday. Either way we’ve earned some time in our comfy chair. Cheers gang!

Wow...that view! Is that your house?

It was a cracking night some Shiraz and BHK54 D049584D-1D21-4E87-ADAF-37DEC0D94843.jpeg.1fcc05b121668fd628d6017dcf164ad3.jpeg

Wow, just look at the wrapper on that thing. My compliments!

Having experienced all 3 of the current QdO’s, I’d say this is mostly a different animal in comparison. I didn’t do a review because I came to the realization a few years ago that I basically suck at picking out specific flavors. Rather, I just recognize when there’s a finely balanced depth to the aromatic experience, and this cigar has it for sure. It’s that depth of flavor and spices that sets it apart from the others. Who knows what it will become with downtime.

Yep, that’s the deck of my house in West Maui, it’s a humble abode that just happens to be in a great location, just a few miles from where I grew up. As a working-class shmuck born and raised (and schooled) here, I’m very fortunate to be a homeowner in one of the most expensive places in the US. Most of my high school classmates left the island long ago to pursue the dream. I’ve just followed grandma’s advice and kept my nose to the grindstone ?

Very, very cool. Growing up in NorCal, my biggest "caviar wish" was always to have a house near the ocean. Maybe in another life.

I figured that w the darker wrappers, the Senadores must be quite different than the other QdOs, especially the 50s and 54s, which are both pretty mild and creamy. The Senadores and the Monte Supremos are the two newer releases that I would love to check out. Thanks for the answer!

My favorite way to start the day.  A Siglo VI and a double cappuccino.

How does the Siglo VI compare to the Siglo IIs and IIIs? (The only Siglos I've had).
