B-52 bomber from 5 pack sampler

Night stroll time and decided to give this one a go. At first, very muted dry hay and rattan flavors, but it was a delayed reaction. About 10 min into it..heavier flavors of clove, white pepper, and gingerbread lingered. Very enjoyable as I stop to write this out.

Today is the last day of holiday.
Whole cigar is very calm, there is no big change.
Sweet and chocolate note, beautiful.
It took me 2 hours and 25 minutes.

A bit young but already very good. Been sampling one every 6 months or so and I find that the Fundadores doesn't need a lot of age to be a pleasant cigar. But still miles away from the aged and vintage ones that I've had in the past.

First from the cab. Very unlike other Hoyo’s I’ve had! First third has been semi sweet cocoa, raspberry and a little cream. Lots of flavor. This will be a heck of a box!

When at the right level is such a fantastic cigar. Very elegant. Corona Gorda is a lovely vitola.

Another LGR SEP 19. This one wasn’t dominated with that cocoa/raspberry flavor like the first two, nor did it have the flavor intensity, yet was pretty complex and a solid smoke! More of a 88-90 rather than a 92-93.

This old photo popped up on my apple feed today.  This was today's smoke, exactly 11 years ago.  Me and some other guys were riding Harleys through the Arizona desert, and we stopped here for a cigar.  

If only I had the foresight to have bought a few more boxes.

I was planning on smoking a BBF, but seeing this picture put me in the mood for a Siglo VI.
