Burn needed some attention, but not too bad A little on the stronger side for me. Will have to be in the mood for something stronger to really enjoy them better Ashton Symmetry Belicosos Pretty tasty. Burn was fairly badly off the entire time in spite of repeated correction attempts. Wrapper peeled a bit in the middle and developed some small cracks in spite of 30 days in my humidor at 65%. Overall, not very impressed with it in any regard Inspite of burn and construction problems, the Symmetry blend just isn't for me. DE Herrera Esteli Habano Longsdale Deluxe Very tasty and perfect draw,burn and construction. All around great smoke in every regard. Visited Padron, had one of their HQ-only black label cigars and got to meet and speak with Jorge Padron for about 15 minutes. Cigar was delicious and smooth. Kind of the perfect in-between of an 1926 Series 80 year and a 1926 90th in maduro. We each bought a box of 10, and I bought a second for a few friends to split. Then moved to Espinola and had some fantastic Mexican food and smokes at the cigar bar next door. Had a Partagas Maduro #1 from 2015 and a Padron 1964 Torpedo. From @Elpresidente and I think ‘hand selected’. Definitely not a lucky dip. Needed a poke with the poker to open up the draw, but then burnt well. All the classic RyJ red fruit and middle eastern spice. Brilliant flavours, a good build in body through the cigar, and no harshness but a little bit of welcome mongrel towards the end.
