Not a cigar worth the relaitive markup today but as a non EL guy who initially thought these were “eh” I have to say I wish I gave less of these away randomly years ago! These are smoking really well at the 4yr mark. Went from sweet hay to graham cracker and then woody in the last third. Finally nub-able without getting too hot or bitter even though it’s really high humidity and started to drizzle right at the end. They are a 2019 Lancero and a 2014 Baby S. Extremely tight roll from one end to the other but is now smoking well thanks to sinking the perfect draw. A different flavor almost every draw, woody pencil shavings, grassy(almost a lemon flavor at times) leaving a sweet honey flavor on the lips. Retro is smooth as silk. Hell, I haven't had a Cuban in awhile as I've been trying to burn through my stash of non-Cubans. I was a bit concerned at first as it started out bland and woodsy - but after an inch in it got spicy, with notes of leather and roasted nuts.
