thechenman Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 Well...last night I had my first ever disappointing Montecristo No. 2 stick from 2008. Have read about other people having this experience, but I had never encountered it until now. While it was a disappointment, I've had many more that were great from '08. This one had a bad burn, extremely flakey ash and was the first Monte to ever give me a bit of a nicotine rush. Go figure. Monte#4, when on, are some of the best pc from cuba. pure coffee and cream. Its a shame that they cant make this one more consistant than it is.. Dark chocolate, cream, roasted nuts, plumes of rich white smoke... Magnificent! 75 minutes 09 PL Monte Carlo...have been enjoying this 33 ring gauge of late.
